In atypical lobular hyperplasia, a corresponding increase in atypical cells is observed in the lobules.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Is Atypical Hyperplasia Linked to Breast Cancer?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Yes, the <strong>Atypical Hyperplasia<\/strong> is considered <strong>increased risk factor<\/strong> for development <strong>breast cancer<\/strong> in the future. and close monitoring may be recommended instead of surgery.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Surveillance and Prevention<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Women with atypical hyperplasia are included in a program <strong>close monitoring<\/strong> with regular imaging tests. In selected cases, prophylactic hormone therapy (such as tamoxifen or aromatase inhibitors) may be recommended to reduce the risk of cancer.
