It has <strong>excellent prognosis,<\/strong> as the cancer cells have not infiltrated the surrounding tissue.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Stages I and II:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Early stages<\/strong> of the disease. The tumor is confined to the breast or may have spread to a few <strong>axillary lymph nodes.<\/strong> Treatment includes surgery, radiotherapy and, depending on the characteristics of the tumor, chemotherapy or hormone therapy.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Stage III:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Locally advanced cancer<\/strong> without distant metastases. Often required <strong>preoperative (neoadjuvant) chemotherapy<\/strong> to reduce the tumor before surgery.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Stage IV (Metastatic cancer):<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The disease has <strong>spread to other parts<\/strong> of the body.
